This school is one of the remaining backward schools within the state of Florida that incredibly still allows the Principal and his co-horts to beat sexually developed high school males and females with pieces of wood boards, while another adult who enjoys watching the assaults stands by and does nothing about it. While the rest of the nation is trying to eradicate bullying and violence, the administrators at Branford High schools promote it.
SOMETHING WRONG HERE The incidents of students being beaten at this school (corporal punishment) and throughout this school district is among the highest in the state of Florida and these are facts that can be checked with the Florida Department of Education. Parents should never permit these acts done to their sons and daughters. The Nations Education Secretary has urged an end to school corporal punishment--but will this school district pay attention to the harm they are doing?
Jerry Munroe this school what you call Violence is not. its what punishment truly is it teaches you more then you think. You need to Realize this is the school i grew up in and was raised since birth. The abuse what you call is nothing. Plus this school is a 10/10 I would make my kids grow up here if I could. Just like my mother did to me and my brother.
I am a current student at BHS i love our school we get a great education. we learn great values of the world. Our teachers are amazing they take time to actually help us and are very patient. I have went to school here in Branford all my life and I am a freshman this year it is a great school our teachers work with each student to give them as many opportunities as we as students are willing to work for. Over all BHS is a great school!
